Mary is the founder of Alegria Destination & Events, a boutique travel design company she launched in 2015 to blend her event-planning expertise with her lifelong passion for exploring the world. With a background rooted in hospitality, she brings a calm, detail-driven approach to crafting personalized journeys that feel effortless from start to finish.
Mary’s heart belongs to Europe—especially Italy, her favorite country on earth. She specializes in designing immersive Italy adventures that celebrate everything she loves most: beautiful landscapes, incredible food and wine, timeless architecture, rich history, inspiring art, and that unmistakable feeling of la vita dolce. While Italy is her specialty, she’s also excited to continue expanding her firsthand knowledge across new destinations, adding fresh inspiration to every trip she curates.
Mary also loves cruising—especially river cruises—and has firsthand experience sailing through some of the world’s most scenic waterways. And when she’s not traveling abroad, you’ll often find her enjoying weekends in Napa and Sonoma, where she once lived. Her deep appreciation for California’s wine country allows her to design exceptional wine-focused getaways that showcase the region’s beauty, culinary richness, and world-class wines—every bit as memorable as those found in Europe.

Her background as both a world traveler and trusted Travel Advisor gives her the insight to design inspiring journeys that reflect each client’s unique interests and travel style. She has traveled extensively throughout Europe, giving her valuable firsthand perspective she often incorporates into her clients’ itineraries.
Known for her creativity, resourcefulness, and personal touch, Marie specializes in luxury vacation packages and cruises, planning each trip with care and attention to detail. Cindi brings more than two decades of experience in event coordination and client service, creating memorable experiences with her signature attention to detail, timing, and organization. Her background as a meeting planner shaped her eye for logistics and seamless execution — skills she now channels into helping travelers plan joyful, effortless Disney vacations from start to finish.
As Alegria’s Disney Vacation Specialist, Cindi loves helping families, couples, and groups discover the magic of Disney destinations — from Walt Disney World and Disneyland to Disney Cruise Line and Adventures by Disney. A Southern California native, Cindi has more than 200 visits to The Magic Kingdom in Anaheim and is a current Passholder with Walt Disney World. A lifelong Disney fan, she’s spent years exploring Disney parks, resorts, and cruises, uncovering insider tips on where to eat, what to see, and how to make the most of every moment. And if that isn't enough Disney, Cindi has been participating in Run Disney events for more than a decade. Whether it’s scoring that perfect resort stay, planning park days, or securing those hard-to-get dining reservations, Cindi’s goal is to make every Disney vacation truly magical.

She began her career in Hawaii, where she lived and worked for 15 years—an experience that shaped her warm approach to service. As she often says, her feet may have left the islands, but her heart never did. Her background in both hospitality and event planning gives her an impeccable eye for detail, seamless logistics, and the ability to create well-designed, effortless vacations from start to finish.
As Alegria’s Hawaii Specialist, Marie blends her firsthand knowledge of each island with a deep respect for Hawaiian culture, traditions, and preservation. She offers thoughtful, culturally mindful guidance that helps travelers experience the true spirit of Hawaii—its landscapes, history, customs, and the aloha that makes it so special. She returns to the islands regularly to keep her insights current and her recommendations personal and relevant.
