Yes. Alegria charges professional planning fees for our time, expertise, research, and customized itinerary design. Fees vary based on the complexity of your trip and will always be discussed transparently before planning begins.

What does a planning fee include?

Planning fees may include itinerary design, hotel and supplier research, coordination of flights and transportation, tour and activity recommendations, booking management, and travel support. Every trip is different, and we’ll clearly outline what’s included for your specific journey.

Can you help if I already booked part of my trip?

In many cases, yes. Depending on what has already been booked, we can step in to assist with the remaining planning or provide consulting-level support. This is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Do you book flights?

Yes. We can assist with flight research and booking as part of your overall trip planning, or work alongside flights you’ve already purchased. We also help with seat selection, fare reviews, and airline preferences.

Do I need travel insurance?

Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect your investment. We’ll review insurance options with you and help you choose coverage that fits your trip and comfort level.

What happens if something goes wrong while I’m traveling?

We’re here for you. If plans change, delays occur, or unexpected issues arise, Alegria provides support and advocacy while you’re away — offering peace of mind when you need it most.

How far in advance should I start planning?

The earlier, the better. For complex international trips, cruises, or peak-season travel, we recommend starting planning 6–12 months in advance. Shorter trips may require less lead time, but availability improves with early planning.

Is everything you share on your website available in real time?
